Bridging HYPE in

Move HYPE from HyperEVM to Elysium, and on to your Nectar wallets.

HyperEVM and Elysium#

HYPE lives on two chains that share addresses. HyperEVM is Hyperliquid's own EVM chain (chain 999). Elysium is Kinetiq's L2 built on it (chain 99901), where Nectar trades. The same address exists on both, but its balance on one is not on the other. A wallet funded on HyperEVM shows 0 HYPE in Nectar until the HYPE is moved across.

Elysium's standard way across is its deposit contract on HyperEVM, the Inbox. Send it HYPE with the deposit instruction, and the same amount arrives at the same address on Elysium.

Deposit with MetaMask#

Turn on hex dataIn MetaMask, open Settings → Advanced and switch on Show hex data. It stays on.
Switch to HyperEVMChoose the HyperEVM network (chain 999), with the wallet that holds your HYPE.
Send to the InboxSend HYPE to 0xce59f8…D92cff. Keep a little HYPE behind on HyperEVM for the fee.
Add the deposit instructionIn the hex data box, enter 0x439370b1, then confirm.

The hex data is what makes it a depositA plain send to the Inbox, without 0x439370b1, is refused by the contract, so a mistake fails rather than losing funds. Check that you are on HyperEVM, not a testnet: a site MetaMask lists as connected does not change where a Send goes.

After it arrives#

The HYPE lands at the same address on Elysium. If that address is not one of your Nectar wallets, switch MetaMask to Elysium and send it on to the Nectar wallet's address. Its balance shows in the terminal as soon as the transfer lands.

Is the deposit linkable?#

No more than any transfer. 0x439370b1 is the code for depositEth(), the same for everyone who bridges. What links wallets on chain is where their HYPE comes from and goes to: funding several wallets from one address, or sending them all back to one, is visible to anyone. To keep wallets apart, fund each from a source that does not trace back to the others.
