The rate#
Nectar's fee is 1% of every trade, buy or sell, on every pool it trades. It is not set in the app: it is written into NectarRouter, the contract every Nectar trade goes through, and read from it (feeBps = 100). Whatever your plan or wallet count, the chain charges the same.
How it is taken#

What you see is what fillsThe quote is a simulation of your exact trade through the router, from your own wallet, at the current price, with the fee in it. Its guaranteed minimum is that quote less your slippage: the trade reverts on chain rather than fill below it.
Other costs#
- The pool's own fee belongs to the DEX pool you trade through and is set by that pool (0.3% on Agora V2, for example). The quote already counts it.
- A token's own tax, if it has one, is the token's, and the quote counts it too.
- The network fee is gas in HYPE, paid by the wallet that sends the trade. On Elysium it is well under a cent per trade.
- A first sell of a token from a wallet also sends one approval, a second small network fee. Later sells of that token from that wallet do not.
Where fees go#
The router books each fee to Nectar's platform address as it is taken. Nothing is sent during your trade: the platform claims what it is owed with claim(). The router has no owner and no upgrade path, so nobody can change its rate or where its fees go. How Nectar plans to share that revenue with traders (cashback) and referrers: Tokenomics.
