Telegram bot
Your key to the terminal: where you approve sign-ins, withdrawals and key exports.
What the bot does#
The Nectar Telegram bot is your key to the terminal. It is where you approve signing in, withdrawing HYPE out of Nectar and exporting a private key. Trading happens on the website; message the bot anything else and it points you there.
The three requests#
| Request | Started from | The bot shows |
|---|---|---|
| Sign in | Log in with Telegram, on the site | A four-character code to match, the browser and the IP |
| Withdraw HYPE | Withdraw, on a funder | The funder, the recipient, the amount and the network fee |
| Export a key | Export key, on a wallet | The wallet whose key will be shown |
Each request opens with Approve and Cancel. It works once, expires after a few minutes, and only the Telegram account it was made for can open it.
Staying safe#
- Approve only what you just asked for on the site, after checking the code or the amount and recipient.
- The bot never asks for a private key, a seed phrase or a payment.
- Telegram may show ads above a bot chat. They are Telegram's, not Nectar's.
If you did not ask, cancelA request you did not start means someone else has the link. Cancel it, and nothing happens.
