No passwords and no email: you approve sign-ins, withdrawals and key exports in Telegram.
Nectar has no passwords and no email accounts. Your Telegram account is your Nectar account: you sign in by approving the request in Telegram, and the same Telegram approves anything that could move HYPE out of Nectar.
How it works#
- Log in with TelegramThe site opens the Nectar bot in Telegram, carrying a one-time request.
- Match the codeThe bot shows a four-character code, the browser and the IP asking. Check the code is the one on the site.
- ApproveTap Approve. The site signs you in. Cancel, and nothing happens.

- Four characters, with no 0, O, 1, I or L to misread
Check the code every timeIf the code in Telegram is not the one on your screen, or you did not just ask to sign in, tap Cancel. Approving signs in whoever made the request.
No Telegram app on this device#
Choose Use your phone number under the Telegram button. Telegram's own login confirms the number, then asks you to approve in a Telegram app you are signed in to elsewhere.
What else Telegram approves#
- Withdrawals of HYPE to an address outside your Nectar wallets: the exact amount and recipient.
- Exporting a private key: the key is then shown once, for 60 seconds.
Moving HYPE between your own wallets and trading need no approval: nothing leaves your account.
